Support the Finance Director and manage over 11 businesses under JET ltd. Lead and manage a team of 10 professionals, overseeing operations, optimizing workflows, and fostering a high-performance culture. I provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in financial processes. Help reduce costs by 30 % creating live documents that would enable JET ltd to identify unpaid bills and also to monitor possible employees that increased costs to the company which led to a purchase of a building in Doxford Park. Carried out a project to create on Power BI some reports that would help us identify highest overheads and created solutions to minimize these. These reports were presented to different stakeholders depending on access level. Conduct research to identify national growing markets and investment opportunities with and without government schemes and produced reports to present them to the managing directors. Use my knowledge in VAT to make sure the companies where reclaiming back the correct amounts and therefore not losing money. In charge of the payroll for around 150 employees with monthly and weekly wages. Manage month end and year end closing processes, monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity. Negotiate contracts, supplier agreements, and financial terms and was able to reduce bills by 29%. Identify discrepancies and trends to improve financial performance. Apply for adequate licenses and kept up to date with regulations as per the business needs (AWRS, PPLPRS, BACTA, etc).
