My background includes roles as a Senior Adoption Coach, Federal Learning Specialist, and FEMA Recovery Coordinator, where I developed a strong foundation in high-stakes problem solving, structured communication, and operational resilience.I am an AmeriCorps alum, having served with AmeriCorps State in Missouri supporting nonprofit food security initiatives, and with FEMA Corps in national disaster response before working directly with FEMA. These roles required adaptability, accountability, and calm decision-making in rapidly changing environments. I am also an endurance athlete and emerging mountaineer who trains through sustained ascents, distance running, and technical climbing to build strength, efficiency, and composure in exposed or unpredictable environments. I have summited Pikes Peak in Colorado and Mount Humphreys in Arizona, and most recently completed Cactus to Clouds, a foot elevation gain day ascent widely regarded as one of the most demanding hikes in North America.
