ABOUT DANIELA SEABRA OLIVEIRA
I am a seasoned cybersecurity expert with over 15 years of experience in shaping, driving, and funding cutting-edge research, as well as developing and implementing national cybersecurity and AI security programs. Currently, I am the Lead Program Director for the National Science Foundation (NSF) flagship program on Security, Privacy, and Trust (SaTC 2.0), where I fund high-impact, multi-million-dollar projects focused on cybersecurity, AI security, and privacy. My work centers on addressing emerging threats in cybersecurity and AI, collaborating with federal agencies, and fostering strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors. With a deep background in research, I have successfully raised over $10M for cybersecurity including AI-related projects, contributing to advancements in IoT security, phishing resistance, and human-centric cybersecurity. As a recognized thought leader, I have delivered keynote speeches at leading venues and companies such as TEDx, Black Hat, the National Academy of Sciences, and Google.My mission is to support groundbreaking research in cybersecurity, AI security, and privacy, while protecting national security in the face of evolving cyber threats.
