ABOUT DANIELA RUGHETTI
I decided to be a translator when I was a kid. It bothered me not to be able to understand foreign people when I was on holiday with my parents. What I ignored back then is that there are around 7k spoken languages in the world. Too bad one cannot learn them all, not even a tiny fraction of them.Well, as a teenager I lowered my expectations and focused on a couple and later on I not only enjoyed my translation studies, but discovered a new whole world beyond what we normally tag as \"translation\". Languages are not just words, they are forged by human beings. They help you connect, relate and discover new things.At the end of the day, this is exactly what I do now. No, not translating. I used to be a professional translator for med devices once, then moved to project management and now I focus on understanding, strategically thinking and achieving the best possible solutions for customer success.I recently reconnected to my passion for life sciences and so this is how my current role as an account manager for life sciences companies connects all the dots.
