ABOUT DANIELA PAPOTTI

Studying English, Japanese, Spanish and French languages, cultures, history and economics to be a mediator, I started working as a freelance translator and affirmed my inclination towards international liaison during an internship at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. After that, I worked in Hitachi as team assistant to coordinate the branches in Japan, UK and Italy, travelling within Europe for Lab Administrators meetings and audits. I enhanced my skills as Executive Assistant and got to support two directors at Sky Italy, where I also joined production teams for TV shows. In 2011 I joined the Headquarters of Luxottica Group as EA within the core international management. From 2012 to end of 2014 I had the precious chance to cover for the Assistant of the CEO, Mr. Andrea Guerra, and work with him during her absences. I challenged myself working under pressure, with highly confidential matters, during the successful closure of licensing deals such as the contract with Giorgio Armani in 2012, with Michael Kors in 2014 and equally relevant contract renewals. I coordinated independently the realization of a limited edition of Ray-Ban sunglasses for the Save The Children foundation. The deep knowledge of the company I developed, allowed me to cover the roles of Internal Communications Specialist and Sales Events and Fairs Specialist during my last 2 years. Enriched by this experience and professionally wiser, I believe the role that suits me best is Executive Assistant. I recently joined Discovery Networks Italia as EA to the President and MD South Europe.
