Law academic and researcher with extensive teaching and research experience in International Human Rights Law, International Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. Significant teaching experience at post-graduate level on the LL.M.(Master in Laws) Programme including: The United Nations System for the Protection of Human Rights, International Criminal Law and International Humanitarian Law. Experience of supervising Masters dissertations in the areas of Human Rights, Armed Conflict, Public International Law and Gender. Established and growing research portfolio on themes related to Human Rights, Armed Conflict and Gender. Leadership and management experience in the UK higher education sector including running the law department of an UK university overseas branch campus in Mauritius in 20••••12. Extensive public speaking experience at domestic and international conferences on themes related to International Law, Gender and Human Rights. International experience of delivering workshops on international law and human rights to NGO workers and legal officials. I have extensive networks in the international human rights community and I recently hosted the current UN Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women, Rashida Manjoo, at Queen Mary, as part of the School of Law\'s 50th anniversary in May 2015.
