I am a bilingual (Spanish and English) Quality Manager with experience in welding, metallurgy, failure analysis, auditing, management, and Quality Assurance/ Quality Control. I have twelve years of working experience in the field of inspection and materials. I have supervised technicians, inspectors, and administrative personnel. I have been the administrator of quality management systems for AISC and NBIC code systems. I have performed extensive internal audits and facilitated external customer, jurisdictional, and regulatory audits.Currently, I work as QAQC Manager for an Electric Utility company where I manage the R stamp authorization to perform in-house welding repairs. I perform inspections on power plant components, write specifications, and oversee construction and repairs. I have an Associates\'s in Applied Science degree in Welding and an AAS degree in Welding Inspection. I graduated with certificates in Inspection, Pipe Welding, Plate Welding, and Nondestructive testing. I am an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.I am passionate about Safety, Quality, Welding, and Materials.
