ABOUT DANIELA IACONIS
I grew up dreaming of working in medical science and I finally achieved it!Currently, I coordinate the preclinical pharmacology activities, providing my technical and management support for the Drug Development programs. I have extensive research experience in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Human Genetics, ranging from mutation analysis to the generation of in vitro and in vivo models for preclinical studies. I supported the development of knowledge-based platform and artificial-intelligence based tools to accelerate drug discovery processes. My scientific background has allowed me to explore cosmeceutics and nutraceutics collaborating with companies and universities: I am open to transferring my experience and knowledge in other fields of scientific research. Since 2020, I have strengthened my coordination skills by managing the scientific and managerial activities of various projects and expanding my education to include project management.I also have teaching experience and have contributed to scientific dissemination as a scientific foundation ambassador, participating also to European consortiums networking.My passion for science and social activities has provided me with diverse life experiences, even in international contexts. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and thoroughly enjoy working with people. Both my professional and extra-professional experiences allowed me to develop transversal competences from managing to technical skills.
