ABOUT DANIELA HOUSER

Driven and compassionate Latin biology student with a passion for healthcare and a focused interest in becoming a Physician Assistant (PA). My hands-on experience spans volunteer work in hospital settings, community outreach through international medical service, and academic research in neurobiology. Through these roles, I’ve developed skills in patient care, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity—qualities I’m eager to bring into the PA profession. Currently, I’m engaged in neurobiology research at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, exploring the impact of vagus nerve stimulation on health, while also supporting peers as a Chemistry Learning Assistant. I’m committed to fostering inclusive environments, as demonstrated by my role on the Bailey College Inclusion and Equity Committee, and am dedicated to academic excellence, as shown by my consistent placements on the Dean’s List and President’s Honors List. I’m excited to further my journey in healthcare, combining my scientific background with my passion for patient-centered care.
