Contracts, litigation, real estate, customs, compliance for France- reviewing and negotiating of commercial/real estate/customer contracts and/or contractual terms and assisting local business/sales pin in respect of the terms and conditions of such contracts/contractual terms- supporting local management and business/sales teams with legal advice and assistance on material legal matters pertaining to the freight forwarding and logistics industries, commercial issues or recovery questions, and compliance with applicable law and policies- corporate law matters, including preparation and maintenance of the articles of association and rules of procedure for the local companies in accordance with global corporate practice and local regulatory requirements, organising of annual shareholder meetings, registration of deeds, opening and closing of branches (registration with the authorities, communication with HR, customs and general services) and general corporate regulatory house-keeping- providing legal support and counsel regarding material claims and/or litigation and reporting to and liaising with DSV Group Legal in respect of such claims/litigation- engaging and instructing external legal counsel, as necessary (including but not limited to in respect of material claims/litigation)- dealings with local authorities (including but not limited to customs and police authorities) on matters of material legal and regulatory importance, audits, as necessary- monitoring of and advising upon changes in industry-applicable local legislation/regulations; and- providing regular internal reporting on legal and claims/litigation matters-sending alerts to management regarding possibilities of termination of leases, sending such termination notice and following-up on the recovery of any bank guarantees and security deposits-working with the recovery department on settlement agreements, counsel with dealing with judicial authorities for bankruptcy procedures
