About Daniela Fonseca Leal
Hi! I’m Daniela, a Political Science student, poet, and immigrant from Venezuela carrying a deep commitment to giving back. As a Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Scholar, I’m excited to continue my journey at Yale University and prepare for my next step: Law School. I serve on the executive board of Meraki Youth non-profit, helping build bridges of opportunities for underrepresented student. I currently work as a Spanish Tutor. I’m also part of Cohort 3 of the Aspire Institute and have engaged with global conversations through IREX Global Solutions. Poetry remains my heart’s voice, exploring memory, migration, and hope as I build new roots while keeping home alive.
