ABOUT DANIELA CIFUENTES LARROTA

I’m a trilingual Junior Policy Analyst with a passion for building smarter, more inclusive public policy through policy research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based decision-making. My experience spans federal, corporate, and community sectors, where I’ve consistently delivered results by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. At Public Safety Canada, I contributed to national crime prevention strategies by conducting in-depth policy research, drafting memos, and monitoring legislative frameworks. While at CN and Bombardier, I supported governance and compliance by optimizing processes, performing contract audits, and aligning workplace policies with regulatory standards. My attention to detail and ability to navigate diverse environments helped reduce grievance processing times and improve organizational efficiency. In my role at Concordia University’s LIVE Centre, I led stakeholder engagement efforts by mapping partnerships between students and NGOs, increasing outreach impact through targeted initiatives. Across all roles, I’ve applied strong data synthesis and reporting skills, structuring complex information into strategic briefs, dashboards, and presentations to support policy alignment and communication.
