Designed and taught Software Security Principles, Concepts and Best Practices CYBR 691 graduate class for 14 Semesters.This course provides a practical and language-neutral introduction to software security concepts, principles, and practices used to build security in each phase of the software development lifecycle(SDLC). The course investigates processes, technologies and frameworks utilized to design, develop, test and deploy appropriately secured software such as threat modeling, secure coding, OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, Mitre ATT & CK, NIST RMF, DISA STIGs. Students are directed through hands-on exercises and activities to become familiar with and apply software security tools for static code analysis(SAST), dynamic code analysis(DAST), threat modeling, software composition analysis, STIGs review, etc.
