The course investigates processes, technologies and frameworks utilized to design, develop, test and deploy appropriately secured software such as threat modeling, secure coding, OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, Mitre ATT & CK, NIST RMF, DISA STIGs. Students are directed through hands-on exercises and activities to become familiar with and apply software security tools for static code analysis(SAST), dynamic code analysis(DAST), threat modeling, software composition analysis, STIGs review, etc.
