About Daniel Epstein
I am a political economist and regulatory litigator. I uniquely understand the politics, law and economics of regulation and use that knowledge to provide transformative guidance to entrepreneurs at the lowest political and economic cost. I have written and secured the passage of federal legislation, Executive Orders and set Supreme Court precedents. My training and experience has led to winning strategies for businesses. I am the key strategist behind a number of bet-the-company wins thought impossible: LabMD\'s successful win against the FTC, Buckyballs\' successful challenge to the CPSC, Rhea Lana Inc.\'s win against the DOL, Fuel Cell Inc.\'s win against the state of Delaware, Limnia\'s win against the DOE, and John Yates\' win against the DOJ. I have led both successful congressional investigations and government transparency lawsuits and successfully defended against them. I was the strategist behind presidential actions promoting regulatory transparency in enforcement. I am a scholar of administrative law at St. Thomas Law in Miami. I have been published in legal periodicals at the University of Chicago and Yale law schools as well as published opinions in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and the Washington Post. I have testified before Congress and provided expertise, interviews and comments to media outlets including Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC and all major print media. I have secured earned media for clients in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and Los Angeles Times, as well as appearances in ABC, Fox News, Fox Business, and CNBC. I know when entrepreneurs must stay under the radar and when they must fight. And when they fight, I have leveraged political, media and legal strategies to ensure a win.
