Responsible for custom silicon (ASIC), electronic components (active and passive), printed circuit board (PCB) and PCBA category commodity sourcing across Kuiper’s hardware. Accountable for high volume CPE products’ vertical integrated global contract manufacturing (CM) and original design manufacturing (ODM) outsourcing strategy. Managed category commodity team to perform robust RFx process with data driven scorecard to identify early engagement strategic partners for product development, qualification, and production planning. Established US domestic preferred system integrator (SI) supply base under export administration regulation (EAR) compliance control to enable fast paced literation of satellite hardware development. Set up long term global EMS production sites to deliver high volume of CPE annually to Kuiper’s end customers.
