FosterI currently supervise a manufacturing team building semiconductor capital equipment. I have been in the semiconductor industry for almost 10 years now. I spent 2 years at Maxim processing and inspecting wafers, 3 years as an assembly technician for Novellus where I was promoted and spent another 2 years as a lead before getting promoted again into a supervisor position which has taken me through the Lam/Novellus merger. I have lead and participated successfully in multiple projects to improve factory efficiency and output quality effectively reducing cycle time and labor hours by 10% each year. During the merge of Novellus and Lam I was actively involved in new process testing and user acceptance training. As a Lead I took one of the least productive shifts and turned it into the most productive within 6 months to a year with the highest conversion of temp to fulltime. Working for an ISO certified company, I believe in total quality management and understand lean manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement and quality.
