Designed, teach, and iteratively update a 4-credit graduate-level Biostatistics course for Claremont Graduate University’s inaugural online MPH program, in a development partnership with Arizona State University• Instructed and mentored over 65 students in four class sections to date.• Lecture on summarizing/visualizing data; measures of central tendency and variability; probability, distributions, z-scores, t-scores, test statistics; hypothesis testing, statistical significance, power; related and independent sample t-tests; estimation and confidence intervals; ANOVA testing; correlation and regression; nonparametric testing; and scientific writing.• Create interactive IBM SPSS data analysis assignments with real-world application, write and administer examinations, and guide discussion forums where students explore biostatistical concepts while practicing technical and scientific writing.• Advise on and evaluate final research proposal projects with literature review, public health problem of interest justification, data collection, and statistical analysis plan components.
