ABOUT DANIEL WINDSHEIMER

Daniel is a Munich based partner at PwC Deals Tax. He has over 20 years of broad transaction experience and serves leading Private Equity and Corporate clients. He is both a US CPA and a German certified tax advisor.He worked on far more than 150 successful buy and sell side processes developing and implementing solutions in the areas of tax due diligence and tax structuring, SPA advice, management incentive schemes as well as IPO and carve-out advice.Daniel developed and rolled out a dedicated MidCap transaction approach focusing on midsize Private Equity but also Corporate M&A processes. This specific MidCap approach includes streamlined and highly efficient working routines, a sole focus on relevant key transaction issues and an insightful and recommendation centric short-form reporting.Next to his strong Private Equity focus Daniel has an in-depth background in the Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) industry. In one of his previous roles at a Big Four firm he headed the Tax TMT sector activities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria for several years. In addition, Daniel advised on a large number of deals in the Automotive, Retail and Consumer Products, Business Services and Health Care industries.Alongside his client work at a former Big Four firm, Daniel has driven the digital tax and innovation initiatives in Germany focusing to automatize and digitalize existing services and create new data-based value added services within Deals Tax.\"Make the deal happen!\" is the underlying principle of Daniel when advising a client.
