   Using sophisticated application of advanced management principals, direct all operations of the Monroe Correctional Complex Washington State Reformatory Unit, Twin Rivers Unit, and Minimum Security Unit Camp - including security, classification, programming, health and sanitation. Serve as a key member of MCC’s executive leadership team, and have shared responsibility for the planning, development, control, and expenditure of MCC’s $78 million biennial budget.\\\\n\\\\nThis position provides leadership and supervision to a diverse workforce consisting of over 130 custody, 25 non-custody and three exempt staff. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that adequate safety and security procedures are in place, and that the unit maintains a high level of emergency response readiness. As a leader you will be expected to inspire, motivate and gain the trust and respect of your staff and peers, and create an environment where all employees feel valued and respected, empowering them to achieve success.
