ABOUT DANIEL WATTS

I was 11 the first time I flew. The rumble of the plan matched my own nervous stomach as we leapt into the sky. I pressed my face to the window and watched the glittering bugs scurrying on long winding roads that wrapped through the city. Neat rows of houses perforated by pristine pools and shady parks stretched for miles and miles. In that moment I thought, all those people down there are going somewhere; families to see, work to do, secrets to keep, fun to be had. I knew right then and there that I wanted to somehow to be a part of it all. Of course, it wasn\'t until much later and many, many different jobs that I really found my passion in user research. This is what I do best; I dive into the world of customers, guests, the marginalized, or the misrepresented and discover what makes them human and what they need. But, I don\'t stop just at the stories. My career has been built on transforming captivating storytelling into actionable insights. Some of my accomplishments include reducing attrition by 40%, increasing customer satisfaction and ticket sales by 35%, developing systems that are used in restaurants across the globe, defining parameters for AI voice assistants, creating frameworks for successful business models, helping create a new candy, launching mobile and desktop apps, and so many more.
