ABOUT DANIEL WALTON

The Founder & Managing Director of the UK based Adventure Camping brand OLPRO, where we design, make, retail and wholesale Stand Out Camping equipment - such as Tents, Campervan Awnings, Furniture, Sleeping bags and lots of great accessories. An award winning innovative brand we create products you don\'t see from other camping companies.You can find us at olproshop.com. As a keen camper I am using OLPRO to drive our innovation. In 2021 we were awarded the Queens award for Enterprise and in 2023 we received B-Corp accreditatoin.In 2019 I was also elected to our local Council in Malvern Hills and am now the Chairman of Malvern Hills District Council. During the time I have been Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Tourism for the district and also chaired our Covid recovery panel. Part of my role as a Councillor is to support local business.Within OLPRO we believe in supporting our local community and local business. Alongside this I am also a Governor of The Chantry School and a Retail Representative on Area Council for Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce. For the last 4 years I\'ve also been a Department for International Trade Regional Export Ambassador for the West Midlands, supporting and promoting businesses exporting from the UK.Before launching OLPRO I was Sales Director at Maypole ltd, Purchasing Director at Discover Leisure Plc & Sales Director at Blue Diamond Products Ltd/ Outdoor Revolution. I also had previous senior management roles at Towsure and Lastminute.com. At Lastminute I was Customer Services manager as the company was launching across the.DOT scene of the year - a fantastic time.For the last 24 years now my roles have been in business development, sales, marketing, customer services - and mostly within the outdoor or travel sector.
