ABOUT DANIEL WALLER
Daniel is a sustainability professional, currently working to deliver energy and maintenance savings through the use of IoT and advanced building performance analytics. He is experienced in assisting businesses and other organisations become part of the low carbon economy and has worked in the sustainability sector for the last 20 years.Daniel has designed and implemented sustainability management plans for over 50 organizations in the public and private sector in the, health, manufacturing, industrial, retail and fast food sectors. Services designed and implemented include organizational and product carbon footprints, corporate policy and strategy, sustainable energy project identification and prioritization. Daniel is also expert in assisting organisations understand and comply with legislation including the EU’s Emissions Trading Scheme, the Carbon Reduction Commitment and Climate Change Agreements. Daniel has worked in North America providing support to the US Department of Energy (DOE). Specific projects have included helping the department set a greenhouse gas reduction target and developing their Strategic Sustainability Performance Plan as required under Presidential Executive Order 13514 and assisting industrial businesses meet energy intensity targets through the Departments’ Save Energy Now LEADER programme for US industrial companies.
