ABOUT DANIEL WALKER-NOLAN

With over 10 years of experience in public policy, I am a Deputy Director at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), where I lead the Policy Response and Resilience Unit and oversee the development and delivery of timely and effective policy responses to emerging issues and challenges. Previously, I was the Head of Trade Policy at DEFRA, where I managed a team of 15 to provide strategic advice and guidance on the implications of Brexit and new trade agreements for the environment, food, and rural sectors. I have a strong background in corporate social responsibility, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement, and I have led several initiatives to improve customer outcomes and address the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. I have a MA in Public Policy from King\'s College London, and I am a former member of the Credit 500, an index of the most influential individuals within the credit industry. I am passionate about creating positive change and delivering public value through evidence-based and inclusive policymaking.
