ABOUT DANIEL WALKER
I am a graduate Aerospace Engineer from the University of Birmingham. Throughout the past several years I have built a range of transferable skills from leadership and adaptability to problem solving and analytical reasoning which have been crucial to my personal and academic development. My current field of work is in Aerospace Quality Systems for Mettis Aerospace. Previously, I worked as a Project Management for Global Relations at the University of Birmingham. I am a pilot and student AGCS operator on the weekends and alongside my job I am a Website Manager for Space Health Research, a space company developing analogue astronaut missions in the UK. My interests are in space systems engineering and design, space mission analysis and design and the development of materials for challenging environments. My passions span from my goal to become a test pilot and astronaut to creating more accessible pathways into aviation for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
