About Daniel Villa
I’m a Posse Foundation Scholar and college undergrad pursuing a B.A. in Hispanic Studies with a minor in Latin American & Caribbean Studies at DePauw University. My background growing up in Chicago, being part of a bilingual household, and witnessing the power of community support is a major part of becoming a bridge-builder through language, culture, and service. I’ve served as a Spanish-English interpreter, trained new hires, and contributed to events at DePauw through leadership in my fraternity and cultural organizations. I’m very passionate about creating accessible spaces and amplifying underrepresented voices, especially in immigrant and Latinx communities. I am looking to connect with individuals and organizations that align with social impact, language access, and cultural empowerment.
