With 10 years of project management experience in the chemicals industry and both downstream and upstream oil and gas, I have successfully navigated the full project life cycle—from early planning to start-up. My professional journey has primarily revolved around roles within the cost, schedule, and project controls domain, encompassing a diverse set of projects from small portfolio-style to major endeavors.Currently with WR Grace as the Corporate Project Controls Lead, I serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to corporate project controls and capital spend. My responsibilities include creating and analyzing datasets, developing visualizations, and delivering contextual insights tailored to specific audiences, including leadership. I spearheaded process improvements and played a crucial role in improving overall forecast accuracy and successfully managing the corporation\'s capital plan throughout the year. Beyond core responsibilities, I introduced vital features in Accolade (Grace’s capital project management system by Sopheon), enhancing project insights and capabilities within project stewardship and time tracking.In a recent role at ExxonMobil, I contributed significantly to data strategy, aiding in the establishment of a robust data foundation as it relates to cost, schedule and controls for the Global Projects organization, propelling our digital transformation objectives.A graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, my educational journey was complemented by valuable real-world exposure through internships at ExxonMobil and Samaritan\'s Purse. Additionally, my experiences include serving as a camp counselor, where I honed leadership and team-building skills through teaching wilderness skills and leading backpacking trips.Before embarking on my full-time professional career, I undertook a transformative 6-month global journey. This adventure not only broadened my understanding of different cultures but also enhanced my worldview. The personal growth and exciting challenges stemming from interactions with diverse cultures have instilled in me a passion for working in new environments and with multicultural teams.Driven by the desire to apply my interpersonal skills and scientific and engineering knowledge to enhance the built environment, I seek dynamic and interactive work environments.
