I am passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement, finding energy in gaining new skills. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve consistently chosen challenging courses and excelled in them. Beyond academics, I actively engaged in extracurricular activities, including playing varsity sports for four years in high school and participating in community service through my church and the National Honor Society. These experiences instilled in me the values of hard work, discipline, and patience.At BYU, I quickly discovered my aptitude for both programming and business—fields that captivate me. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and startups, in particular, have always fascinated me. Over the summer, I worked as a software engineer at Stratus, a tech startup that leverages AI to serve its clients. This environment was ideal for me, offering constant exposure to software development, AI, and business operations.Working at Stratus has nurtured my entrepreneurial spirit and drive to deliver production-ready solutions. The founders were invaluable mentors, equipping me with the skills and mindset to take on any challenge. They trust that no matter the task, I will either know how to do it or learn how to.As an aspiring technical co-founder, I chose to minor in Business Strategy to develop sharp intuition and a broader perspective. This will help me thrive in a startup environment, where wearing many hats is essential. I aim to leverage the knowledge gained from school, work, and mentorship to eventually launch my own tech company—a lifelong ambition.
