About Daniel Stang
I currently work for Zoox.My first job in the Autonomous Driving space was writing software for MBRDNA in Sunnyvale. I previously wrote software for robotic systems at Cyberworks Robotics. Before that I wrote software (C++) for motion controllers at General Dynamics Mission Systems (the information systems and technology arm of General Dynamics).I have a master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering which I earned for my research on control system design for automotive applications. I was in the first graduating class in Udacity\'s Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree lead by Sebastian Thrun (creator of Google\'s Self-Driving Car Program). My primary motivator for getting up each morning is my appetite for learning. Currently devouring as much knowledge as possible related to reinforcement learning, robotics, and autonomous vehicles.
