About Daniel Spano

Summary: Experienced professional with exceptional interpersonal skills and solid business acumen. Certified Peer Recovery Specialist by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Focused on the The Lifeline Project that is established to reduce stigma related to the disease of addiction and increase community support for policies that provide for treatment and recovery services. Goal: Building Community support throughout the thirteen counties I cover including, Cannon, Rutherford, Cheatham, Sumner, Dickson, Stewart, Houston, Trousdale, Humphreys, Williamson, Montgomery, Wilson, and Robertson. I work with local churches and faith based groups to establish more meetings. By establishing more community support we will reduce the recidivism rate across the state and ensure long term recovery for individuals. Recovery starts when people get out of treatment centers, drug courts, or incarceration, and learn to live life sober through this community support that often doesn\'t exist in rural areas. Specialties: Training presentations, public speaking, jail and prison ministry.
