About Daniel Skinner

Currently in my third year at the University of South Florida, I am pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting and Finance, with the goal of earning my CPA designation. During the 2025 tax season, I will be interning with Crowe, LLP, where I will assist in preparing and filing both individual and corporate tax returns, conduct research on tax regulations, and collaborate with the tax team to uncover tax-saving strategies. In addition, I have gained valuable audit experience as an Audit Intern at Purvis, Gray & Co. In this role, I have performed comprehensive financial audits for a wide range of clients, tested internal controls, conducted on-site inventory assessments, and prepared detailed audit documentation. I have also communicated audit findings to senior auditors, utilized audit software to enhance efficiency, and demonstrated my ability to adapt to new technologies. By combining these hands-on experiences with my academic preparation, I am well-equipped to contribute to an organization in need of analytical, detail-oriented professionals with a strong foundation in both accounting and finance.

Oversee cash flow and monitor account activity to ensure transparency and compliance. Collaborate with officer team members to plan events, allocate resources, and support chapter initiatives. Participate in professional development events, network with industry professionals, and engage in volunteer activities such as tutoring, reinforcing leadership, service, and integrity in the accounting profession.
