ABOUT DANIEL SKIDMORE

I am a skilled Building Engineering specialist having delivered complex projects across diverse sectors including offices, residential, hospitality, leisure, media, science, healthcare, and logistics - across the UK and globally with both public and private sector clients. As a Director at AECOM I have two key roles - I lead some of our key and most challenging mixed-use, cultural and commercial developments, often but not exclusively with our multi-disciplinary teams of Environmental, Engineer and Sustainability professionals - and our UK+I Building Engineering lead for Commercial Sector development, collabrating nationally and also with our global practice lines on research and project delivery. I thrive on Architecturally led projects that demand innovative design solutions, with a keen focus on enhancing the wellbeing of occupants and promoting long-term sustainability. I believe in integrating low-carbon and circular economy principles to ensure that the buildings I deliver are not only easy to maintain and operate, meet the highest environmental standards, but most of all are fantastic places to live, entertain, learn and work. I pride myself on working closely with clients and design teams, from the initial stages of their project through to final delivery, ensuring that the vision and objectives of the project are met. I have a passion for taking on challenging projects and delivering outstanding and award winning design that exceeds expectations.
