Project Manager Supporting Youtube Tv Broadcast Engineering @Avi Systems

As a Project Manager with AVI Systems supporting YouTube TV Technical Operations, I drive large-scale technical infrastructure projects that underpin YouTube TV’s broadcast operations worldwide. Currently, I’m managing multiple multi-million dollar CAPEX projects to build out six new headends and refresh 12 international sites across seven countries and four continents. This includes optimizing YouTube TV\'s network peering infrastructure, delivering five 9s of reliability between broadcast partners and Google’s AS15169 edge.In addition to infrastructure management, I work closely with content partners and a team of eight network engineers to ensure efficient signal acquisition across fiber, SRT, and satellite pathways. My support extends to NFL Sunday Ticket, where I assist the YouTube TV Technical Operations Center team with troubleshooting and managing fiber connectivity.I\'ve strengthened strategic relationships with colocation facilities and LW/DWDM fiber transport partners, enhancing global scalability for YouTube TV. Through managing the standardizing infrastructure designs and establishing a scalable deployment model, I’ve help cut deployment timelines significantly since jumping on.My project management approach integrates Agile principles, SQL, JavaScript, and internal DCIM software, streamlining workflows for data-driven efficiency. Close collaboration with finance is central to my role, especially as I lead a site decommissioning initiative projected to save $5M annually. My adaptability to new tools and procedures ensures a flexible, high-performance team, driving YouTube TV’s mission forward.
