About Daniel Sims
Building accessible infrastructure, spurring investment in underserved communities, and helping young AEC professionals learn and grow in their careers, is what I am most passionate about. After three decades with WSP, I’m proud of my work shaping communities throughout the Southwest and here in New Mexico through impactful, community-based projects, like the 12 Street & Menaul Complete Streets Project, which revitalized a historic neighborhood in Albuquerque and helped lift an entire community. Along the way, I’ve been able to extend opportunities to succeed to newer team members and watch as they’ve gone onto design safer, more accessible, and more equitable communities.
