As an Electrician Apprentice for a Commercial / industrial electrical construction company there are many tasks and requirements to be an effective, and efficient employee. Tasks include: Follow given instructions from leadership. Plan installations based off of blueprint requirements. Attention to detail with installations including equipment, National Electrical Code, and aesthetic. Work on individual scopes of work with or without coworkers. Start and finish scopes of works such as Lighting, power, power distribution, temporary installments, life safety, and equipment. Keep track of material and order when necessary. Requirements include: Always following safety protocols from Gaylor, our Clients and our General Contractors. Being flexible with multiple working environments. Completing company required safety courses as much as 48 hours a year (company provided). Learn daily and help apprentices around you to succeed as well. Work together as a team to complete each job. Apprentices are required to start and complete a 4 year Apprenticeship provided by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
