I am a seasoned senior executive with deep experience in Finance, Strategy, Operations, and IT as well as General Management. For the past 13 years, I have worked at Macmillan Publishers in a variety of roles, most recently as Chief Financial Officer. During this time, I built high performing teams, successfully implemented several business and financial IT systems, built an industry-leading eBook production and distribution operation from scratch, and led an organization of more than 80 employees across corporate finance, divisional finance / business management, accounting, strategy, data science / analytics, business systems, and rights / royalties, among others.Prior to Macmillan, I spent more than a decade in management consulting (as a generalist with a focus in media and entertainment businesses) and investment banking. Through dozens of projects across strategic development, strategy implementation, commercial due diligence, post-merger integration, and analytic support, I gained significant experience in understanding and solving the key strategic and business issues facing a wide range of organizations.I have an MBA in finance and strategy from Columbia Business School and a BS in economics with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurial management from the Wharton School.
