Hi, my name is Daniel Santos. I’m a dedicated and driven accounting professional with a strong passion for finance, economics, and business strategy. I hold a Master’s in Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Finance from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY.During my academic career, I completed challenging courses such as Applied Statistics for Economics, Advanced Finance, and Investment Analysis all of which laid a strong foundation for the work I do today. My curiosity about the financial world also led me to earn certifications from respected institutions including Morgan Stanley, IHS Markit, and Wall Street Bound Inc.Currently, I work at a major accounting firm, where I apply my skills to support clients and contribute to complex financial and operational projects. Prior to this, I had the opportunity to work on Wall Street as a Junior Financial Broker at TPICAP, one of the world’s leading interdealer brokers. There, I focused on USDBRL FX, helping process trade details, close transactions, manage reconciliations, and maintain client relationships gaining direct exposure to fast-paced markets and institutional finance.Outside of work, I was a Division I student-athlete on St. Francis College’s Varsity Swimming Team. I set seven school records and competed in the Brazil Olympic Trials in 2016.
