I am a public relations and communications expert. I’ve led comprehensive public affairs programs in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and was directly responsible for everything from coordinating interviews with major news media, such as CNN, FOX and Al Jazeera, to organizing large-scale public events. I\'m currently work at Commander, Navy Region Hawaii as the environmental public affairs officer.

   Develop, staff, and revise key public affairs program management processes and documents Develops, implements, and maintains public affairs and organizational information activities, and provides guidance on the technical aspects of public affairs outreach and engagement. Develops and maintains marketing plans to help shape communications and outreach to key stakeholders and audiences. Evaluates the effectiveness of communication strategies and provides recommendations for continual improvement. Creates and leads community engagement programs that promote community involvement awareness of U.S. Navy’s positive presence in Hawaii. Creates written, visual information and social media content and helps maintain Navy Region Hawaii’s social media platforms. Develops communication content that aligns with communication strategies and tactics. Creates briefing cards, comm plans, messaging, talking points, and RTQs for target audiences in support of region’s lines of effort. Prepare leadership and SMEs for media and community engagements. Demonstrates organized and thoughtful problem-solving in relation to region issues and concerns. Understands and comprehends the information environment concerning emerging topics that impact the Navy, region and local installations.
