Responsible for leading and coordinating internal and external quality activities in fabrication business unit, lab and metrology. Plan, organize, supervise and verify the quality activities, calibration of tooling inspection is done in timely manner in order to avoid production disruption.Exercise authority in hiring, training, career development, performance appraisals, salary adjustments, promotion, discipline, health, safety and the general employee relations of direct reports.Lead and plan day-to-day activities, schedule, material usage, budgets, manpower and equipment resources.Review technical specifications and maintain accurate procedures and work instructions.Track productivity and work volumes to establish performance targets.Work directly with subject matter experts to ensure quality standards are maintained and lab capabilities are in line with current technologies.Promote a continuous improvement philosophy, lean and kaizen to identify cost savings, environmental benefits, quality enhancements and/or safety concerns.
