ABOUT DANIEL ROGERS
Dan is a chartered town planner with a degree in Town and Country Planning and a Masters in Town Planning from University of West England, Bristol. He started his planning career in 2005 and was elected to full membership of the RTPI in 2007. He joined Bell Cornwell in 2014 having previously worked in the public sector for Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council and Cotswold District Council.Dan has worked predominantly in development control and also has experience of planning enforcement, planning policy and conservation and heritage work in both urban and rural areas. He has experience in a variety of planning matters, ranging in size and complexity within the residential, industrial, agricultural, educational, renewable and commercial sectors.He currently advises clients on a range of matters, which includes undertaking initial planning appraisals and planning strategy, land promotion and local plan representations, preparing and managing a wide range of planning applications and planning appeals, and the submission of applications for certificates of lawfulness and prior approval. He also has experience of preparing Conservation Area appraisals, and Listed Building Consent applications.His work is based across the South West from his time in Bristol and the Cotswolds, but is mainly focused in Cornwall and Devon.
