ABOUT DANIEL RODRIGUEZ

As a consultant, I have several years of professional experience defined by an extensive background in almost all aspects of controlled environmental farming of aquatic organisms including facilities design and operation programs.From November 2024 to November 2025, I Led a team focused on enhancing fish health and implemented rapid disease detection tests for nano fish species, enabling prompt interventions and minimizing disease impact. Executed efficient treatment protocols, improving fish survival rates and reducing treatment times.Collaborated with team members to optimize aquarium maintenance procedures, enhancing water quality and reducing labor costs for an ornamental fish importer company in Vancouver, and during the past years, in an intensive RAS steelhead salmon facility in upstate New York, I was directing a 3 million dollar pilot for pacific white shrimp production using bio floc and RAS technologies obtaining promising results.Previously, I worked as an Aquaculture Research Associate for the Department of Fisheries and Allied Aqua-cultures of Auburn University in the Marine Aquaculture Research Center located in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Working on the intensive production of White shrimp, Red Snapper, Pompano, and live feeds as microalgae and zooplankton for marine larval rearing production programs. A few years later I moved to Canada, working as a consultant for large farming RAS operations producing Rainbow Trout, Atlantic salmon, and Black cod.
