ABOUT DANIEL RISK
HR practitioner with a recruitment background and experience of partnering with a number of global and blue-chip organisations. Currently I am working for Sky as Head of People for Group Product including Global Streaming Platform, Content Technology & Innovation, Design, Delivery and Product Management in a number of areas including Talent Management, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Organisational Design, Team Effectiveness, Employee Engagement, Absence, Resource Planning and Executive Coaching. I have previously worked for Vodafone UK, Vodafone Group, Openreach and BT in both recruitment and HR roles, working with Corporate, Commercial and Enterprise functions. I have an MSc in Human Resource Management and I am an Associate member of the CIPD. I also work for Newcastle United FC supporting their academy recruitment across South of England, going into Academies and Non-League sides. To date, I have completed the FA Level 1 and 2 courses in Talent Identification as well as the PFSA Level 1, 2 and 3 courses. Previously I worked as as a freelance Football Scout for the PFSA covering clubs from League One to National League South. I also have experience working for Chelsea, Birmingham City, Hamilton Academical and Charlton Athletic in a variety of scouting roles.
