About Daniel Adler
Hello! I’m a Software Development Engineer based in Seattle, WA, and my journey has been an exhilarating blend of artificial intelligence, creativity, and personal growth. At Lucidworks, I found myself immersed in an AI hackathon. My solution? A Q&A platform that mined millions of internal documents, Slack conversations, and Confluence pages using Solr. The thrill of creating something intelligent and impactful is electrifying and something I hope to continue experiencing for the rest of my life. I ended up achieving second place, despite my only being there for under a year (and it being my first full-time engineering role). As a freelance software engineer, I embarked on a mission: to transform banking statement chaos into order. With Python and Tesseract OCR, I crafted a seamless data pipeline. Those inconsistently formatted PDFs? Now neatly stored in a remote SQL database, automating manual parsing for accounting firms. During my internship at SAP, I delved into GraphQL, extracting insights from the digital fabric to help our teams grow and evolve to meet the everchanging expectations of customers. The intersection of technology and imagination became my playground. I was born to create experiences for people. In fact, most of my free time is spent designing them; whether it be outlines of interactions in games that don\'t exist yet, cooking delicious and exciting new meals, or making every day into an experience that maximizes my personal health and growth. So here I am, continuing to create experiences by weaving AI threads into the tapestry of creativity. Let’s connect, explore, and celebrate the artistry of code!
