Lead development and implementation of the college\'s strategic plan regarding employee and student wellness- Create a multi-year plan for implementing and executing the wellness vision for elevated campus health and wellness- Develop operational plan and report directly to the college president and board of commissioners- Bridge the gap between academic and non-academic areas to establish research-based practices with maximum effectiveness- Present topics regarding health, fitness, and wellness to campus faculty and staff in an effort to promote health and wellness- Oversee the design and development of the York Technical College Wellness mobile app in conjunction with the campus offices of Strategic Communication and Marketing and Information Services- Coordinate international software development team to develop York Technical College Wellness App- Organize and implement campus wellness functions related to physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual wellness. Functions range from physical activity functions to mental health seminars- Organize and lead inter-departmental committee focused on employee wellness.Lead inter-departmental efforts to fund, plan, and establish on-campus fitness center- Explore grants and external funding sources for innovative projects regarding community health and wellness- Serve in leadership capacity on campus master planning committee as well as special projects around construction of new Health Science building- Lead efforts to improve campus accessibility and expand public use areas for community interaction- Organize community wellness outreach efforts in Rock Hill including the NAMI Mental Health Walk and partnering with area non-profit and for-profit entities- Explore new academic and continued-ed programs in topic areas related to health and wellness.
