About Daniel Orozco
Dr. Daniel Orozco is a Podiatrist and has been practicing in the New York area since 2007. He grew up in NYC and moved to Long Island to provide podiatric services in areas with greater need. Dr. Orozco specializes in Podiatric Medicine, Surgery, and Wound Care and is looking forward to servicing the community’s podiatric needs. Dr. Orozco is the proud descendant of Puerto Rican parents and it is through this rich culture and strong up bringing that he gained values, respect and work ethic that allow him to treat his patients in a way that they appreciate. He takes the time to educate his patients about their conditions and provide them treatment options to help them manage their podiatric issues. Dr. Orozco has the philosophy that “I treat patients the way I want to be treated, because someday I may be in their shoes.” Dr. Orozco is a graduate of Pace University of NYC, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. After his undergraduate studies, he went on to do research in African Sleeping Sickness, Microsporidia, and Trichomoniasis while working in Haskins Laboratories. He attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 2005, where he earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Orozco completed his residency training in podiatry/medicine and surgery in 2007 at North Shore University Hospital-LIJ Health System, and rotated through Forest Hills, Manhasset, and Southside Hospitals. He was the chief resident from 20••••07. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery (FACFAS). He is currently a consultant for Northwell Health-LIJ Forest Hills Hospital and Huntington Hills skilled nursing facility. He is also affiliated with Gramercy Surgery Center. When not in the office, Dr. Orozco enjoys cooking ethnic foods, cycling, traveling and spending time with his lovely wife and daughter.
