Responsible for a team of 5 (London, New York, Manchester, Pune based), with a mandate covering:• Global coverage of prudential and ESG regulatory change, covering global capital, liquidity, financial risks and associated governance, data and operational implementation requirements, plus ESG regulations as a separate process.• Coordination of the implementation of all relevant prudential regulations globally including provision of review and challenge of accountable owners of implementation approach.• Support for implementation of complex regulatory change programmes, including leadership of 2nd LoD oversight of Basel Final implementation globally.• Provision of internal interpretation of prudential rules globally, covering both technical requirements at a product, transaction or business level.• Provision of advice to 1st and 2nd LoD stakeholders on regulatory best practices based on regulatory principles and areas of focus.• Support for Public Policy function through coordination and management of advocacy on technical regulatory proposed rulemakings.• Provision of analysis and reporting for internal management and client support on emerging prudential trends and requirements.• Development and implementation of Global ESG Risk and Compliance framework.• Development of ESG risk measurement tools and metrics to identify, monitor and measure all potentially relevant ESG risks over the short, medium and long term.• Provide ESG risk management tools, education and frameworks for all business stakeholders including the Group and Entity Boards, business senior management and client or other risk-taking staff.
