ABOUT DANIEL NASCIMENTO

An accomplished BIM Manager with a wealth of experience that includes working as the BIM Manager on two multi-million Smart Motorways Projects during the construction, handover and close-out phases. Self-motivated, quick learner and confident managing the BIM team to ensure the project’s compliance with BIM standards whilst verifying construction records are created, stored and optimised in the common data environment (CDE) with the correct metadata. With a degree in Civil Engineering and an excellent eye for detail, possesses the ability to create and update the BEP/MIDP and gather attributes for assets in the as-built schedules to form the base for the federated model. Heavily involved in the use of multiple CDE systems & able to validate final PIM & Construction Records to handover projects in line with client requirements. Daniel has held a number of interim Engineering Consultant positions with Essex Police, London Olympic Stadium, Oldham Borough Council, Lincolnshire County Council, North Yorkshire County Council and Bournemouth Borough Council.Daniel’s versatile and self-starter abilities made possible his successful integration into organisations ensuring good practice and professionalism. Daniel finished his degree as a Civil Engineer (BEng) and joined Mouchel/Kier in 2014 where he incorporated his degree in the BIM Consultancy and Project Management fields. Daniel successfully completed the training to become a Project Manager with the Association of Project Managers and has held a number of Project Manager positions.
