About Daniel Najera Moreno

As a Manufacturing Engineer for Drive Unit at Tesla, I lead the development and deployment of drive unit functional testing manufacturing equipment and processes. I have over three years of experience as a Process Engineer at Tesla, where I was responsible for the drive unit end of line functional test process. I have skills in Rockwell Automation, 3DEXPERIENCE, and Vector CANape, which I use to program, calibrate, and analyze drive units for various Tesla models.In my recent work experience, I have driven production ramps on drive units during the global chip shortage by integrating several firmware\'s to allow hardware flexibility. I have also led the integration of new drive unit variants for the model S/X refresh by programming PLC logic on all end of line stations. I have contributed to reducing scrap, increasing first pass yield, and automating data extraction for weekly reporting. I am passionate about improving the quality and efficiency of Tesla\'s products and processes, and I enjoy working with a diverse and innovative team of engineers.
