The vertiport handles over aircraft movements annually (pre-pandemic), catering to a diverse range of needs, including Skycrane construction helicopters, law enforcement, military, corporate, and tourist aircraft.Mojica\'s expertise extends beyond day-to-day operations, as he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation in Illinois. He is a crucial participant in the Illinois AAM System Plan commissioned by the Illinois Department of Transportation & Kimley-Horn. His experience in facilitating life-saving healthcare operations spans from multi-state helicopter transfers to the Illinois Medical District (IMD), recognized as one of the world\'s most influential and innovative medical hubs.In 2022, Mojica led Vertiport Chicago in a groundbreaking Urban Air Mobility simulation, in collaboration with EVE Air Mobility, BLADE, United Airlines, Republic Airways, Speedbird, and other key partners. This simulation allowed participants to experience the future of air travel firsthand, seamlessly flying between downtown Chicago and local suburbs.Building on this momentum, in 2023, Illinois Governor Pritzker announced a transformative partnership involving Archer, United Airlines, the City of Chicago, and Vertiport Chicago.
