With over 11 years of experience in the ICT Asset Management sector, I lead a team of IT professionals specializing in the secure destruction of data, recycling, and refurbishment of retired and end-of-life ICT equipment. As part of the senior management team at SER, I oversee operations across multiple sites, including our sq ft headquarters and two additional locations, with a combined warehousing capacity of over sq ft.As Head of Compliance for the group, I ensure all compliance documentation, licenses, and accreditations are rigorously managed to the highest standards. I am proud to lead our company in maintaining full ISO UCAS accreditation, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management). This ensures we meet or exceed industry and regulatory requirements at all times.I have 6 years of specialized experience in lithium-ion battery recycling, I have developed in-depth knowledge in the packaging, storage, handling, and transport of lithium batteries, which are classified as Class 9 dangerous goods. We fully comply with ADR (European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) regulations and maintain strict safety protocols. Our team benefits from the guidance of our in-house Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), ensuring all operations related to the transport and handling of dangerous goods are conducted with the highest level of safety and regulatory compliance.As a qualified Technical Competence Manager (TCM), I also ensure that our sites operate in compliance with environmental permits and waste management licenses. I oversee site attendance, provide technical advice, and address any compliance issues promptly, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
