Leveraged robust business acumen to build the Beaumont Health Neurology Department from the ground up, strategically identifying, recruiting, and onboarding top performing specialists in the neurological field in order to drive clinical innovation, improve outcomes, and increase quality of care. • Led the department in the achievement of Primary Stroke Center certification, hiring and working closely with the Director of Stroke to elevate internal standards in support of positive outcomes for stroke care. • Oversaw the development of a robust epilepsy program for complex care management in an adult and pediatric patient population, attaining recognition as a Level Four accredited Regional Epilepsy Center. • Acquired magnetoencephalography (MEG) technology to identify the source of epileptic seizures. • Coordinated with multidisciplinary providers to advance seizure monitoring processes in the ICU, stimulating a significant increase in the identification and treatment of undetected seizures. • Achieved ACGME certification for an integrated Neurology Residency Program. • Spearheaded an initiative to augment clinical accessibility for patients with limited schedules, successfully attaining executive buy-in for the expansion of clinic hours to include Saturdays. • Upheld a commitment to diversity and inclusion (D&I) throughout talent acquisition, cultivating a multicultural and multilingual team that brought a global perspective to care innovation.
